Door-to-Door Auto Transport: How It Works
Door-to-door auto transport means the carrier gets as close as safely and legally possible to your pickup and delivery addresses. Large carriers need space, so narrow streets, low trees, restricted neighborhoods, and tight turns may require meeting nearby.
Pickup
The driver confirms timing, inspects the vehicle, notes existing condition on the bill of lading, and loads the car.
Delivery
At delivery, inspect the vehicle before signing. Take photos and compare condition against the pickup inspection.
When meeting nearby is better
Parking lots, wide side streets, and safe commercial areas can make loading faster and reduce risk.
