Vehicle Transport Solutions for Automotive Dealerships

Inventory transfers, trade-ins, and customer deliveries with VS3 carrier verification, controlled pickup handoffs, and one accountable AAAT contact—not a rotating ticket queue.

Why Dealerships Trust All America Auto Transport

  • Inventory Management Support: Coordinate multiple vehicle transfers efficiently with our dedicated account management team.
  • Time-Sensitive Deliveries: We understand dealership timelines and work to meet your specific delivery windows.
  • Insurance as a backstop: Carrier cargo coverage typically ranges $100,000–$500,000 per load; optional additional coverage can be quoted when you need more than the carrier limit. Prevention comes first via VS3.
  • Volume program pricing: Account rates for dealerships with consistent shipping needs—quotes reflect lane, timing flexibility, and equipment, not a fixed price lock.

Carrier verification, driver-change controls, and safe handoffs

Dealership lots are a high-value target for carrier identity theft and last-minute driver swaps. Before dispatch, VS3 confirms ACTIVE FMCSA/SAFER status, current cargo insurance, and driver/truck identity (license and DOT/MC photos). Mid-stream driver or truck changes are stop-the-line events—your lot should not release to whoever shows up without AAAT re-verification.

At pickup, release only when company name, DOT/MC, driver ID, and BOL match dispatch. Prefer confirming through aaat.com/verify when available. If any check fails, hold the vehicle and call your dedicated AAAT contact—one accountable desk on the order, not a call-center shuffle.

As a dealership, your focus stays on sales and inventory—not logistics. With 60+ years and 500,000+ vehicles shipped, we coordinate multi-unit moves, manage carrier relationships through our VS3 Vehicle Shipment Security System, and keep insurance as the backstop behind verification and handoff discipline. Timing targets are set per order; market conditions can shift ETAs, and we escalate early when they do.

Dealership vehicle transport FAQ

Carrier verification, driver-change controls, safe inventory release, honest market pricing, and insurance as a backstop—see the full VS3 Vehicle Shipment Security System for operational detail.
How does AAAT verify carriers before dealership inventory ships?
Every load follows VS3: confirm the motor carrier is ACTIVE on FMCSA SAFER, review recent authority changes, verify current cargo insurance for the load, and collect driver license photos plus truck photos with DOT/MC visible. First-time carriers get extra gates (history, phone match, authority age, and—on high-value units—references and extra coverage when available). Idle carriers are re-verified before reuse. Full protocol: aaat.com/vs3.
What if the assigned driver or truck changes before a dealer pickup?
Treat unexpected driver, truck, carrier, timing, or location changes as a stop-the-line event—fraudulent driver swaps are a common attack after a load is booked. Do not release inventory to whoever shows up. Call your AAAT coordinator so we can re-verify identity and equipment against dispatch. License photos, truck DOT/MC, company name, and Bill of Lading must match the person and equipment on site.
What should dealership staff verify before releasing a vehicle?
Release only when every check matches: no tow trucks; trucking company name matches dispatch; DOT or MC is clearly displayed; the driver's license matches the person on site; the Bill of Lading lists the correct company name and delivery address. Prefer confirming through aaat.com/verify when a QR/personal link is available. If anything does not match, hold the vehicle and call AAAT immediately.
How does dealership transport pricing work—are rates locked?
Quotes reflect current carrier-market pricing for lane, vehicle size, open vs enclosed, volume, and timing—not a fixed nationwide price list. Rates can move with fuel, seasonality, and carrier capacity between estimate and dispatch. We share a clear estimate and flag what can change; volume accounts can discuss contracted or tiered structures. Online consumer bookings charge $0 until a qualified carrier is assigned and dispatched—ask your coordinator for dealer payment terms.
Is cargo insurance a guarantee my dealership inventory is fully protected?
No. Carrier cargo insurance is a backstop for many in-transit damage scenarios—not a substitute for preventing identity fraud or wrong-party release. VS3 prioritizes carrier vetting, insurance verification, driver/truck ID, and release protocols so insurance is rarely the first line of defense against theft-style losses. Coverage terms, limits, and exclusions follow the carrier policy and your contract. Optional additional coverage above carrier limits may be available—ask for a route- and unit-specific quote.
